Billing policy
Refunds, Cancellation & Renewal
This policy explains how subscriptions renew, how to cancel, and when Fjord offers refunds.
Effective: August 12, 2026 · Last updated: August 13, 2026
Subscriptions and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. You may cancel at any time through Fjord’s billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, paid access and the associated allowance continue until the end of the already-paid billing period.
First-purchase 14-day refund
You may request a full refund within 14 days of the first Fjord subscription purchase made by your account. This is a one-time first-purchase guarantee and does not reset if you cancel and later subscribe again. Mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights in your jurisdiction continue to apply.
Renewals
Renewal payments are generally non-refundable after the new billing period begins, except where applicable law requires a refund, where a duplicate or incorrect charge occurred, or in exceptional cases Fjord chooses to resolve. Fjord displays the price and billing interval before purchase and will give reasonable advance notice of a material recurring price increase before renewal.
Bonus messages
Fjord currently offers separately purchased packs of 500 bonus messages after an eligible subscriber uses the current plan allowance and any existing bonus balance. Bonus messages are described as non-expiring and are used after the monthly allowance.
Unused bonus messages may be refundable within 14 days of purchase, subject to applicable law. Used bonus messages are generally non-refundable. Fjord will not impose an ordinary expiration on already-purchased credits represented as non-expiring; any prospective change would require clear notice and would apply only as permitted by law.
Billing errors
Contact privacy@usefjord.com about a duplicate or incorrect charge. Confirmed duplicate charges and genuine billing errors will be corrected or refunded.
Mandatory rights
Nothing in this policy limits cancellation, refund, withdrawal, chargeback, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
